Autocare Ltd. was the first company in Zambia to be privatised under the Zambia Privatisation Act (1992). Astro Holdings Ltd. acquired the company with the intention to revive the struggling company. Autocare Ltd. is now a leader in the Zambian automotive parts and service industry. The

company currently has two locations in Zambia: Lusaka and Kitwe. Both locations provide full workshop and body-shop facilities. Autocare Ltd. has been awarded exclusive distribution of commercial vehicles by Eicher Motors Limited joint venture with Volvo. VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV) is the name given to the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture. Since 2008, our distributions have included their complete range of Eicher branded trucks and buses. The Eicher components and engineering designed services compile to provide us with a premium choice in value. The vehicles have been welcomed in Zambia with great enthusiasm.
